Community Services Manager – Auckland and Northland
An occupational therapist, Rachelle has worked in in-patient and community rehabilitation since 1996 and brain injury rehabilitation in
residential and community settings since 2000.
Prior to taking on the Community Service manager role at ABI, Rachelle worked as a rehab coordinator, community occupational therapist and team leader for ABI Rehabilitation’s concussion services.
Rachelle has been employed as the community services manager for the past 10 years. She has enjoyed growing the community services team, building excellence and skill amongst ABI’s clinicians to ensure that ABI has a highly regarded, multidisciplinary community neurorehabilitation service across the Auckland and Northland regions.
Rachelle has extensive knowledge of community-based neurorehabilitation in the New Zealand context.
Supporting the Community Service to help clients achieve their goals is a rewarding part of her role, and the everchanging and developing services ensure that she remains passionate about her work.
