ABI Auckland has welcomed two new cabins to the Intensive Rehabilitation site.
These cabins are designed for mobile independent clients who are nearing the end of their Intensive inpatient rehabilitation enabling them to practice some of the living skills they have gained before discharging home.
The cabins will house a client each, has a kitchenette, lounge area and its own ensuite.
Clients will still access the rehabilitation team, attend rehab activities, participate in gym programmes and have continuing oversight from nursing whilst finishing their rehabilitation staying in the cabins.
The cabins will be formally opened and blessed before our first clients start using them in early July.
