Update: Community Rehabilitation under COVID-19 Alert Level 2

Thank you to all friends and family/whānau for your continued understanding whilst we have COVID 19 pandemic restrictions in place.

As most of New Zealand (except Auckland) moves to pandemic alert level 2, we continue consulting our DHB infection control experts and Ministry of Health representatives for guidance.  Auckland will remain at alert level 4 and Telehealth is the only option for community rehabilitation in the Auckland region.

Auckland is at Level 4

Telehealth only. No Auckland ABI community sites are open. No face to face at home or in-clinic sessions

Rest of New Zealand from Wednesday 8th September – Level 2

Telehealth is the preferred option for continuing rehabilitation. ABI clinics will be open with limited staff and services being operated from the clinic site

If deemed essential, face to face sessions can occur under these conditions:

  • Your ABI clinician will be well
  • You will need to declare that you and your bubble are well, COVID free, have not been at a location of interest and are not awaiting test results
  • Masks will need to be worn
  • Physical distancing will take place where possible
